Personal: The 2007-08 season marks Kendra Blackmon's third season as a WSSU Cheerleader. She was born in Charlotte, NC on January 22, 1987. Kendra is a Marketing major with a minor in Spanish. She began cheering when she was just seven years old and cheered for three seasons at East Mecklenburg High School, where she was a 2005 Graduate. There she also ran three seasons of track and was a part of the National Technical Honor Society. She was on the honor roll for four years. She is the daughter of Yvette and John Harvell of Charlotte NC and is a member of the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at WSSU.
