2005-06: In an injury-shortened season, Wehner still proved to be an invaluable asset to the Rams as he appeared in more than half of the team's games, coming off of the bench for almost all of his appearances...Appeared in 18 games, starting three after returning to the Rams' lineup following an extended layoff from surgery to repair a torn quadriceps muscle that forced him to miss the entire first semester of action...Recorded 375 minutes of playing time for an average of 20.8 minutes per contest...Scored 223 points on 79 of 129 shooting for a field goal percentage of .612...Converted on 64 of his 95 free throw attempts for a FT shooting percentage of .684...Pulled down 88 rebounds, 45 of which came on the defensive glass for an average of 4.9 rebounds per game (a team high)...Dished out 19 assists and committed only 33 turnovers...Tallied three blocks and 12 steals...Turned in 10 games of 10 points or more...Tallied two 20-plus point games...Led the Rams in scoring once (at JCSU on February 11, 2006)...Led the Rams in rebounding on six occasions...Recorded a personal season-high of 25 points at Johnson C. 2004-05: An All-CIAA First-Team selection at forward, he helped to lead the Rams to the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament...Appeared in 25 games for the Rams, starting 20 due to missing several games with a nagging knee injury...Recorded 717 minutes on the season (third most on the team), turning in an average of 28.7 minutes per game...Scored 396 points (second on team) on 145-of-241 shooting en route to leading the team in field goal percentage at 60.2%...Averaged a team-high 15.8 points per game...Was a perfect two-for-two from behind the three-point arch (1.00)...Converted on 104 of his 140 free throws for a FT shooting percentage of .743...Pulled down 131 rebounds, 63 on the offensive glass and 68 on the defensive end for an average of 5.2 rebounds per game...Recorded 29 assists and 53 turnovers...Recorded nine blocks and 28 steals, ranking him one of the most prolific theft artists in the CIAA at the forward position...Named All-CIAA First-Team during a sophomore season in which he was coming off of a CIAA Rookie of the Year award...Placed seventh in the CIAA in scoring with 15.8 points per game...Ranked first in the CIAA in field goal accuracy as he hit 60.2% of all of his field goals...Ranked ninth in the CIAA in free throw percentage, hitting 74.3% of his attempts from the charity stripe...Ranked 11th in the CIAA in offensive rebounds per game with 2.52 per contest...Led the Rams in scoring 13 times...Led the Rams in rebounding eight times.

Personal: Wehner joined the Rams in 2003-04 for his first season of active competition after sitting out as a redshirt in 2002-03... He played his high school basketball at E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville, NC where he was the leading scorer and rebounder in the city of Fayetteville his senior season...Named Conference Player of the Year his senior season...Was a High School teammate of former Ram Darnell Gregory...Named First-Team All-Cape-Fear Region...Named First-Team All-Conference...Averaged 22 points and 13 rebounds his senior season...Averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds his junior season...Son of Joseph and Jeanice Wehner...Born March 30th, 1984...Majoring in Physical Education.
