The Rams will play a full compliment of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference games with only two non-conference opponents gracing the schedule in national powerhouse Coastal Carolina (September 8, 2007) and longtime rival North Carolina Central University (November 10, 2007).
WSSU, who will enter into their third year of a five-year transition to the NCAA Division I level in the fall of 2007, will play nine MEAC contests highlighted by home games against North Carolina A&T,

Ram fans will benefit from five road games that will be played within easy driving distance from Winston-Salem, NC as WSSU will face Coastal Carolina in Conway, SC; Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD; South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC; Howard University in Washington, DC; and Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia during the 2007 season.

As well, we had concerns regarding the dates for fall break and did not want to schedule a game that our student body would have a conflict attending.
