Richmond, VA - The Winston-Salem State University Rams golf team placed second overall at the Glenwood Golf Round-Up, a one-day tri-match that took place in Richmond, VA on Sunday afternoon. The Rams placed behind the Vikings of Elizabeth City State but finished ahead of the Tigers of St. Paul's College.

The Rams, who turned in a combined score of 420 were fifty strokes behind the Vikings who tallied a 370 on the afternoon, but were 75 strokes ahead of the Tigers of St. Paul's.

WSSU returns to action tomorrow in the first day of a CIAA league-wide event that will pit all the CIAA's men's golf teams against one another in the final regular-season golf event of 2004 before next weekend's CIAA golf championship in Charlotte, NC.
