Personal: Ja'Eric Brooks-Shoffner joins the Winston-Salem State Track & Field team for the first time this fall...A native of Durham, North Carolina, Brooks-Shoffner joins the Rams following a solid high school career...Enjoyed a stellar career in high school track & field...Led the team's 4x400m relay team to the State finals and a second place finish in the 2-AA Mid-State Conference...Competed in the State finals in the 60m dash in the 2006 indoor season...He also competed in the state regionals in the 100m dash and in the 300m hurdles...He was also named the 2005 Rookie of the Year for Outdoor Track wtih the Bulldogs...A Business Administration major...The son of Ricky and Lisa Brooks.
