His best performance of the season came early in the season at the team's first meet of the season...He finished 15th at the UNC-Pembroke Invitational with a time of 31:04.83 in the event...He placed 151st in the 2006 Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic in a time of 29:39.23...Finished eighth in the North Carolina Central Cross Country Invitational with a time of 27:49.17...Finished 78th at the Greensboro Invitational in a time of 30:44.3...He finished 44th in the Old Northstate Cross Country Championship at Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, NC...He finished 72nd in the Wingate Invitational...He posted a time of 39:48.0 in the event...He placed 15th at the UNC-Pembroke Cross Country Invitational in a time of 31:04.83.
2005: Gerrod had a solid freshman season with a number of quality performances...He finished 18th in the team's final appearance in the CIAA Championships, finishing with a time of 30:27.90 in the event, his best 8K performance of the season...He had a solid performance in his first collegiate competition, placing 89th in Eye Opener Invitational with a time of 32:25.0 in the event.
Personal: Sidbury rejoins the Rams' cross-country and track and field teams for his fourth season in 2007 following a very successful freshman campaign...A native of Wilmington, NC, he is a 2004 graduate of Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, NC where he was an All-4AA Conference selection for the Buccaneers...Was named his track and field team MVP...Was a B Honor Roll selection for three consecutive years in high school...Was also a member of the Buccaneers' football team...The son of Sharon D.
