Personal: Allegra Seegars joins the Winston-Salem State Track & Field team for the first time this fall...A native of Greensboro, North Carolina...A highly touted athlete, she has made a name for herself on a national level in high school...She ranked 40th in the nation in the 200m dash, fourth in the state in the 100m dash, and seventh in the state in the 200m dash...She was a member of a 4x200m relay team that finished 2nd in the state and a 4x100m relay team that finished 3rd in the state...She was also a Nike Outdoor National Medalist finishing fifth in the nation as a member of the 4x100m relay team...She was named MVP of the 4A Metro Conference...Allegra is an Excersice Science major...She is the daughter of Bub and Leticia Seegars...Her name means "fast".
