2007: Georgette had a solid first season with the Lady Rams ... She played in 94 of the team's 102 games and in all 30 matches ... She was one of the team's best players both offensively and defensively ... She led the Lady Rams with 70 total blocks (55 solo) ... She added 108 kills and seven service aces ... She had her best game against Savannah State when she totaled 14 kills with just three errors ... She had a career-high 10 digs against Savannah State earlier that weekend.

Personal: Georgette Allen joined the Lady Rams volleyball team in the fall of 2007 after spending last season at St. Augustine's in Raleigh, NC...A native of Durham, NC, she is a graduate of J.F. Webb High School where she was a three-sport athlete earning letters in volleyball, basketball, and track & field...During her career, she earned Player of the Year honors...She also went to the state championships in track & field where she competed in the shot put and discus...The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rankins, Georgette...A Physical Education major...Born in Durham, NC.
