2007: The junior season was another solid one for Sandy Harrison, who posted a number of quality finishes during her junior season...She set a new career best with a time of 21:51.1. at the Greensboro Invitational...She nearly beat the effort one week later at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Invitational.
2006: Sandy followed a solid freshman season with a strong sophomore performance in 2006...She posted a career-best time of 22:01.6 at the Greensboro Invitational at nearby Hagan Stone Park...She finished sixth at the Eagles Cross Country Classic where she posted a time of 22:28.30.
2005: Sandy had a great performance as a true freshman...She had her best finish of the season at home when she placed 22nd at the Southern Cross Country Classic at nearby Tanglewood Park...She finished the event in a time of 24:28...Her best time of the season came at the CIAA Championships where she finished 27th with a time of 23:30.8.
Personal: Harrison rejoins the Lady Rams' cross-country team for her fourth season in 2008 following very successful freshman, sophomore, and junior campaigns that saw her improve every season...A native of Rocky Mount, NC, she is a 2005 graduate of Nash Central High School in Rocky Mount, NC where she placed 4th in the State of North Carolina in the 400 meters her senior season...The daughter of Robert Sr. and Debbie Harrison...A mathematics major at WSSU...Born in Rocky Mount, NC on August 23rd, 1987.
